really want to go fishing but chicken coop projects are under way so no fishing for a while. but hoping to get out in the next 2 weeks and find out if the family lake has fish in it lol.

I do too but everywhere is flooded right now.

The frustrations of bed fishing! She ate my live bluegill multiple times tonight but I was never able to get the hook set. I have some new techniques that I’m eager to try tomorrow, she’s clearly a 4+ pounder, I’d love to catch a new pb after only a couple weeks

First good(above 5 inches) Massachusetts bass of the year! He ate it 4 feet from the dock in clear water and I saw the whole thing happen, sadly i lost the lure in a tree soon after

what are you going after on the fly?
i love fly fishing for brook trout in streams. last year got a fly rod for pike.

I love the colors too. I'll use it for brooke brown rainbow and cutthroat mostly possibly whitefish and kokanne at some point

cool, we don't really have cutthroat trout here and then stocked rainbow, brook and brown. (lake trout are the only native trout/char of my province)
