Who else is getting chicks tomorrow at TSC??

what breeds do they usually have at TSC? i think they have RIR's but i never know what the others are

I guess stores carry different breeds; but our's here in SC had Ameraucanas ( Easter Egg Chickens ); Barred Rocks, and Rhode Island Reds;; Buff Orpingtons; Cornish and Pekin Ducks

I don't know if yours do, but both of the feed stores here have their chick orders posted so you can see what breeds they're getting, how many of each, if they're pullets/roos/straight run, and the ship date from the hatchery.

I'm fighting the urge to go over and write all of the info down! I DON'T NEED ANY MORE CHICKS!!

DONT DO IT!!!!! last year at least at my store was a NIGHTMARE...sick chicks...every little kid on the planet squeezing and dropping them and poopy butts, dead chicks in bins, ducks swimming in wet poo soup...it was soooo bad I finally had to fuss, and they will tell you that they DONT get their chicks from Ideal or McMurrary...but they wont tell you WHERE they are getting them from...HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??? Anyone know??

All I can say...is keep your receipts!

Just drug my wife out of TSC, kicking and screaming, they had ameracana chicks and ducklings... We r on r way home, just picked up 2 dozen buckeye and 1 dozen ameracana fertile eggs, shell have hers soon enough!

We got our chickens from TSC last year and they were fine.
Same this year...nice healthy peeps.
Our store is very nice...and the gal that helped us was helpful also.
They answer your questions and they handle the chicks.
Ours gets from MtHealthy...
RNC sounds like you just have a bad store.
