Who else is getting SNOW?!

I love watching dogs enjoy the snow. Only one of my old guys does any more. Here are some pictures from this morning:

You can see the top of the coop over the deck rail.

Here is my neighbor helpding DH clear the snow that the plow left in the driveway.

We had more snow yesterday... I don't know if it's gonna hang around until Christmas... I hope it does. The weather people never seem to get it right so listening to them is useless.

If only the sun shined between comments like this like "who else is getting snow" and if you say you aren't, I'll be moving in next week!

Hmmm....you live in Maine and snow makes your life a living h-e-double hockey sticks? Methinks you need to move!

It's snowing here again. We got a foot Friday night, and it snowed all day yesterday, ocean effect, they said, about seven inches of it, and now again it's snowing like mad out there. It's supposed to go over to rain, unfortunately, and then freeze solid, so the menfolk have to get out there and clear it yet again!

Just so you know, I did my fair share of shovelling and snowblowing yesterday when hubby was up at our house in Maine clearing off the roof for the next load!

PLEASE SEND SNOW TO SC!

I have a sled, warm clothes, hot buttered rum..... but no snow. Hasn't snowed here in many years!

Ya'll come on down! Actually, I do appreciate how difficult is is to live with all that snow, not poking you in the eye, here. I just wish we would get a few days worth for Christmas. It's so pretty and fun, if you don't have to conduct a life in it.

Stay warm and good luck!

Well, the basic reason I hate snow is the fact that DH is working (for past 4 years weekends and 2 hours away!!) and that leaves me with doing the snow removal, repairing shear pins, yesterday a steering arm, along with ice base and chains coming off when I spin, they twist off the tire, having been known to rip the tire off the rim (learned how to avoid that), flat tires and last night/this morning a froze starter. Our drive is only 75' up hill.
As for the other reason I dread snow is the same reason I hate rain. My arthritis sends me into orbit with pain, but when you have to kneel or lay on the ice, regardless to amount of clothing or cardboard you put down, when its 9 degrees out..you get the picture! So, I whine and complain. Forgive me
