I hope they are duck eggs, if not then we have some really huge-egg-laying chickens!
You must have a very strong light, I can never see parts. But if the foot is yellow (as would be since they should be pekin eggs) you might not see the webbing between the toes. It would be rather clear. Just judge by how full the eggs are, it won't hurt them to stop turning a few days early.

Well, also, I believe you said the free-ranging chickens were RIR, which lay brown eggs. These eggs are creamy white... and large. I'm thinkin' duck.

I can see parts in the guinea egg, as well, I just can't tell which parts!

Yes, the RIR are free ranging, but their eggs are lighter than what they should be. But I don't think their eggs are as big as the ones I sent, and the ones I sent 'feel' like duck eggs. I guess we'll know for sure in a few days to a week
Quote: Forever... seriously... it seems that way, but I had one pip and not hatch until about 48 hours later.

Don't do it!!!
Give them time... lots of time! Go take a long bubble bath or read a novel... they'll get out.
It... just... takes...
...forever!
