Who else is waiting the impossible wait?

OK, I have graduated from this thread - today Trixie laid this little gem:

What a thrill! Really. I found it as I was closing their windows in prep for my going to work, so I had to wait until I got home from work to photograph it & tell everyone.
Anyway, I told all my students, & they were happy for me - but you guys really understand

Mine are 20 weeks. There have been a couple of eggs that I've wondered about but they just look too big to be pullet eggs. Even my hens have slowed down. I think one of them stopped laying all together, one is sporadic and the other one has been so/so. Out of 8 chicks I know 4 are boys and there is one more that I just can't figure out yet. Bummer.

We have 6 banty's that the breeder said should lay eggs in September. I know it's July, but I check twice a day for a little surprise egg! I hope some day there will be more eggs than I want. I'm like a kid at Christmas checking the stocking!

My 6 girls are around 24-26 weeks and only 2 have been laying for the past 2 weeks

of the other 4, 2 are squatting and checking out the next boxes and very friendly towards me, 2 dont look even ready

Mine are just 15 weeks...maybe 16 haven't looked at the calendar. They hatched on April 12th... I have a ways to go but I need the time to finish the coop. My son in law.. or soon to be ex son in law is going to make me some new boxes... the ones he made are not right... they have no top. I will use them for storage or something. He has been so nice to help me with all the wood stuff. He even said he will put in my windows when I get them...

Still no eggs, but on another thread, someone posted the pre- and post- egg song. I hear this song a lot, perhaps I just need to look harder for my imaginary eggs!

Waiting for my leghorns to start laying....

All the other ladies except for 2 stopped laying because it's too hot. They are very fat. Cutting their cracked corn and seeing what happens. They have plenty of shelter and shade and cold water but it's still hot.
