Also, this may seem like a stupid question but what is a roo? i have an idea but not sure.

A Roo is just a nickname for a rooster. Kinda like my real name is Jaclyn, but my nickname is Jackie.

20 weeks today on our 14 chickens. the wooden eggs and golf balls are in place. 1/2 of the chickens have nice red combs and wattles. some are squatting........wait........wait...........wait......

Don't feel bad about wondering what a roo is, mdc2be. I am baffled by all the breed abbreviation on here! Most of them I have been able to figure out, but many times I have wished someone had a dictionary for these things.
