I have two. My hen Buffy is super chill, probally the most timid bird in my flock. My rooster Slayer is a great protector and gentelman (only 5 months old and already does the special treat call to hens and courtship dance). They are a great breed!

I only have pics of Buffy with others. Here she is with Cupcake (Easter Egger) and Winnie ( Silver-laced Wyndotte.

What gorgeous hens, and a handsome roo to boot! Since we're new to the whole backyard chicken thing, we thought we'd hold off on getting a rooster until, perhaps, the next flock (we have seven hens right now). Buff Orpington roos are at the top of my list, because it seems they're less aggressive than other breeds.

We tried to get just more hens this spring and ended up with three roosters who were suppise to be pullets so we are just going with it.
