Who feel asleep before midnight?

I have been hatching out chicks for the first time ever weekly since 12/11. They have been keeping me up till all hours so last night I fell asleep around 10pm and woke up at 8am this morning.

I was sick so I went to bed at 10. Woke up just in time to hear the neighbors blasting off fireworks. Ho-hum, first time I missed the ball drop in years!

I was asleep before 9:00. We spent the last 2 days building a 3 X 8 bitty cage. We worked straight through yesterday - no lunch. I fed the kids and then took my aching body to bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow

Sekinkead - you are one of the few hatching anything right now. Lots are looking for baby chicks, but few have them. Congratulations on your new little ones.

I was in Ireland a couple of years ago and visited the Waterford factory. In a special room they present the "other" crystal ball used to bring in the New Year. It is gorgous!! They keep the copy just in case the original gets damaged. The intricate designs used in their collections are entirely done free hand. The artisans work for years before they are allowed to pattern the crystal. I try to watch the ball drop each year, but usually miss it.
