Slow roasted on a Ronco rotisserie... 6.5 pounds.... 1 1/2 hours... last 1/2 hour lots of honey spices and sugar to get a nice crisp crust on the skin.

today will be day 3 of eating the crockpotted freedom ranger roo we had kept for breeding but had to cull

he was a good guy, i wish he wouldn't have gotten injured... but thank you tri-colored rooster for feeding our bellies

We put the chicken in a slow cooker for the day. My wife is amazed by how little grease is left compared to store bought ones.

Plan to raise around 50 this next year.
