Who has an SOP?

Type is only a factor in exhibition. Type has nothing to do with health, vigor, production, etc. Are you aware that APA standards change over time? If you want to preserve old breeds, you would not use the current SOP.
 
Nope. I just wanted the Standard of Perfection because I hope to breed Araucanas one day. I also got the Standard of Perfection because I thought it would have pictures of every breed and variety. They don’t have any pictures of Seramas.
The ABA standard has pics of seramas
 
The Wheaten male could be shown as black breasted red, but the females of those varieties look much different.
 
The APA talks about purebred, but many exhibition birds are not. Yet, hatcheries are accused of crossing, and they likely have not.
