Who has any bantam partridge cochins???

I want to see pics and know everything about them... Are they good layers??? Through the winter??? Do they hatch alot??? Are They friendly???

Bantam cochins aren't the best layers and usually don't lay much in the winter. They make great broodies and mothers. They tend to be very docile.

I have one that was given to me. Very docile bird. She lays the biggest eggs of all about the same as a standard size bird. Doesn't lay well in winter though.

I don't have any laying right now because all of my Cochins are babies still. Some are almost laying age.

They are EXTREMELY sweet. I absolutely love my Cochins. They have the best personality and are just darling.

They are a very broody breed and like to set eggs. So I imagine that can be a little challenging when it comes to eggs sometimes.
