Who has Bronze turkeys?

I was at Murdochs today and I went in saying "No chickens, no chickens" per my hubby's request. So I had to get some feed and another feeder and of course look at the chicks. (Hey I had my kids with me, there was no getting out of it!!!)
Much to my surprise, there were 4 stocktanks full of turkeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course they had Royal Palm, lots of them. But not really interested since we really raise them for meat.
They also had Bronze turkeys.... don't really know about them. We have Bourbon Reds and love them.
So anyone in love with Bronzes? Please tell me why.

I do and I just love them. I have 2 hens and they are very skiddish. I have a tom and he is always on security detail. I didn't get my turkeys when they were babies. The girls were about 6 or 7 months old and the tom is 2. I've had them since...... well?...... Oct? Nov. maybe? I don't have a picture of my hens.. they are tough to get with a camera but I do have a picture of Buddy my tom. He's always strutting his stuff. I also love the colors of these birds. Very cool looking. These pictures were taken around the time I got them home. Buddy has a black scab from brushing against fencing. It's no longer there. He's a good looking boy.

Here is a few of my bronze turkeys.

I havea bronze tom and he is awesome. He looks after my royal palm hen while shes on the nest, keepi g curious chickens and ducks away just by herding them. He wont let us pet him, but we didnt get him as a baby. Hes never mean to anyone. And the best is he roosts high in a tree above the house. He flys up there. First tho he checks to be sure his lady is on her roost.

That is only a few of my turkeys. I go through 250 pounds a day on the average for the turkeys. I also have a few thousand chickens. I have a bunch of ducks, geese and peacocks, horses, goats and pigs also. The feed store loves me.
