Who has Digital TV? Your opinions......

We have Free-To-Air and have had it for several years now. DH bought a couple of receivers off ebay and the dish was here, plus a neighbor gave him her big old one she doesn't use anymore. He figured out the satellites and we have free TV. Not always as convenient as pay TV of some type, but we can afford FREE! Most of the stuff you get on DISH and DIRECTV (had both of those for years) is stuff you must pay for on there, but you get free on the big dish.

speckled hen so you have both the smaller and larger dishes? perhaps your DH could write an article on FTA and post it here under the self sufficiency or random ramblings and you could link it here. I think many people here would be interested esp. the self sufficiency side since many people wish to give up lifestyles where you produce debt or bills for that lifestyle.
