Who has gutters on your coop

i was concerned about using rain water off the roof due to the chemicals in the roofing shingles or the zinc in the galvainized roofing. after considering the wild bird poo and other animals on the roof from time to time the chemicals seemed like a moot point. i'll stick to the garden with my rain water collection since the chicks don't really use up that much water anyway. i think the gutters are the only way to keep a run halfway dry unless it's elevated and crowned for runoff.
