Me too! Small game is in, so I've been working outside with a shotgun close at hand. I love being in the boondocks.

I always have the hunting bug, but the last two years I have not taken anytime off of work to go. With the sketchy economy I work as much as I can, so if my job evaperates I wont regret not working when I could. But I still fish in the dead of winter when I have time.

Here too Black Powder starts tomorrow AM DH cant go so neighbor borrowed his gun I dont care venison is venison no matter who shoots it lol

Heck, here in Michigan it's a state holiday. Schools in northern MI and the UP close on Nov. 15, opening day of Rifle Season

PLUS, we have a number of "hunting carols" written and performed by Michiganiacs

Ted Nugent's "Fred Bear" and "Spirit of the Wild"

Da Yooper's "T'urdy (30) Point Buck" and "Second Week at Deer Camp."

Weve already gone and still Nothing-we get more action with our live traps! hahaha good luck guys
