Here's a picture of paco showing off when I had him at work. Id bring him to work with me on the days we had to go to the vet or something, that way it was a quick trip from work to the vet instead of all the way home, grab him, all the way backout etc.

He won't show off when I have the camera out but let someone else get one and it's ham city.
Omg a moluccan! He's gorgeous!!!

SO CUTE!! Finally a fellow 'too owner!

Thank you, but don't tell him i said that !!
Im actually blessed that Paco just LOVES people period !! it takes him about a minute to size you up and if he decides he likes you, you are in for the Peach Pest Attention Tour !!

My niece recently visited and brought her children, and paco fell in love with my grand neice. Those two were inseperable and OMG he milked that like you would NOT believe.

No Sophy do NOT give Paco any more treats.... oh never mind, he's going to end up with a timeout by the end of the night, I can already see this :D :p

I have heard so many horror stories about birds being jealous, being posessive, aggressive to everyone except their owner etc, and thankfully I never see any of that with him.

Mine is like that too. She loves everyone, with the exception of my dad, I also have heard those stories but I think the key is to socialize them alot with different people.

I have always wanted a Cockatoo. He sounds like a little angel compared to some others I've heard of.
After I've gotten used to keeping a cockatiel I'd like to rescue a cockatoo.

Wonderful birds but beware of: LOUD, needy, and destructive behaviors. I also recommend not getting a young one but instead a 25+ year one. If you have bird experience and can put up with all that then you'll be very pleased with cockatoo ownership. Also thank you for rescuing! They are the most commonly surrendered bird to rescues and need to get adopted.

Yeah, I'm very tolerant of animal behaviors.
The only thing that would bother me is noise, but not like it would bother most people. Tons of background noise is normal to me, lots of dog yapping and goat screaming. But loud screeches in my face would get annoying, which is why I want a huge aviary/gazebo before I get a cockatoo. A safe place to put the crying baby essentially😂

I was going to get a hand raised baby for my first one, the cockatiel, so that I start with a clean slate, but after that I will probably adopt all my birds.
