What beautiful photos one and all!

In high school I took some photography classes, but that was shortly after civilization began (ok, maybe it only seems that way) and things have changed a bit! For Christmas last year I got a Nikon D5000... WOW! Next month I'm taking an online refresher course since I can't remember anything about apeture and f/stops and need to understand the camera just a bit better. In the past year I've managed to get off a few good shots. Sadly my two favorite photos won't upload here, I've had that problem on a couple of sites, they are rather large files

but here are a couple I like.
