Thanks Maggie! I'm sorry that you haven't been able to hit the lake because of the algae. We tried to hit Venice Beach earlier this year but when we got there, there was a Red Tide that had come threw and we had to turn around and come home. Wasn't going to take the chance on any of the beaches close to it. That is one sight and smell that you will not forget! Good luck with the algae problem. I hope that it will clear out soon for you.

Well those that are between 2-3 ft you really don't have to worry about to much as long as you are not harassing them. They are really kind of shy around that length but can just as easily take off some fingers and toes. Those under 2ft you need to worry about because mom is usually close by (and she won't take anything off of nothing when it comes to her babies) and those that are over 3 ft are starting to stand up for themselves.
