Who here Owns horses??

Here is our last remaining horse. Her name is Cheyenne, she'll probably die with us. I sold off all the other TWH's, and our other Leopard App Gelding.

I USED to have horses, mainly Paso Finos and Miniature Horses. I loved them all and we moved in the city, boarding was expensive and had to sell them all.

I dont think we will ever have horses again but maybe ONE day!

We currently have three horses.

The most recent addition, Velvets Wilhemina aka Cheyenne. She's a two year old paint horse.

Sonny, our old "mutt" gelding. He's about 25ish and has been a wonderful horse for us. Not a mean bone in his body.

Ugh, my facebook account is not letting me get at the other photos I have. We have a third horse named Stetson. We think he's a quarter horse, but he was a ranch horse out of mexico. I will post the rest of my pictures when facebook decides to work again!

We have 5. All Paint horses though 3 don't have spots. LOL Jack and Scotch are 1/2 brothers out of our mares Angel and Flashy. We also have Scotch's other half brother out of Flashy and a different stud. Angel is 17 years old a solid black with 2 blue eyes, a star, snip, and strip. Flashy is 13 years old a Sorrel Tobiano. Dunnit is 7 years old and out of Flashy. He is a Sorrel Overo. Scotch is 3 years old and is out of Flashy. He is a solid Sorrel with a star. Jack is 3 years old out of Angel and is a solid black nearly 16 hands. He looks a lot like Black Beauty with just a white star and nearly 16 hands tall.

I was told by the vet that appaloosas are prone to get cataracts. That is truly sad, because these horses are so wonderful and it is very expensive to remove the cataracts!!

If I had the money (about $2500) I would get it done in a heartbeat!

I'll have to see if she'll let me get a picture of her....I don't know that hers is catarcts though....The person I got it from though did say it was very common in white horses...the appys specially....I thought they called it Moon Blindness(or at least hers)....I did search it alittle on line and kinda came up with the same 'moonblindness' thing...She's had it for about 2 years before we got her, and we've had her about a year now....She does just fine out in our pasture with the sheep, goats, and llamas...She loves to be ridden and is very well trained...She has wonderful training in her, just needs to beable to let it out....the weather will hopefully warm up here very soon, so that she can do more...

Casino has the white in her eyes, but I think she can see shadows out of one eye. We don't ride her, because she is so unsure of herself. She is just haning around looking pretty and eating!! My step-son has been on her, but just to see if she would ride. She will but walks behind someone better. She does not like men much, and I am the only one that can catch her!!(with a bribe)

I have 4 horses. Socks our 7yr old stud he is a buckskin roan. Annibell our 8 yr old bay mare. Their daughter Firefly a 3 yr old buckskin and Sonny a bay gelding who is 5. Annibell and Socks had a beautiful buckskin filly this year but she died right after birth. She was born 4 wks early. I wish I had pictures loaded on the computer to show you.

We have 10 horses and ponies total. Right now four training horses also. BUT, I have two horse crazy girls also. LOL My oldest is aspiring to be a trainer and equine vet. Shoot she loves anything to do medical wise with all our animals. My middle is much prissier, but following in her sister's footsteps in cutting. Here are a couple shots...
The girls on one cutting horse and our pony mare...
