New to this....I have 7 five week chickens. I have tried so hard to learn how to tell the roo's from the hen's....really I have. I have read all the posts, sit in my run and look at them for hours and truthfully I have no idea. Care to help out a newbie? Also a quick question, If I find out I have more than 1 roo should I try to sell him now? I really only want one. Would this time of year be a good time to find him a new home? Thanks so much for all your help.. Sorry so many pics.

The pics are rather too unclear to tell, and they're still quite young. If I had to pick I'd say the last one.

I was in denial until two of my "girls" started crowing. I'm still trying to find new homes for the boys. [IMG]

I like the creative names, maybe I will go that route. I am begining to think that a crow or an egg will be the only way I will tell too. Doesn't it seem like summer just flew by but the 18-20 weeks it takes for a chicken to lay an egg just creeps along?
