I like the dentist...or at least, the cleaning part or it.
I LOVE going for a monthly cleaning. This may sound funny, but I like the flavors of the fluorides they have, like orange (sometimes when they're cleaning out the flouride and ask me if it's all gone, I say it is when there's still a little bit left because it tastes so good!
).
LOL and my teeth feel so clean afterward.
I had about 4-5 teeth pulled out one time (because there wasn't enough space for other teeth to come in) and I was excited because I had never had my teeth pulled before and I was going to be given "laughing gas" and be put to sleep. It was fine except after they got pulled, my mouth was kinda sore but I ate lots of ice cream.
Lately one of my top teeth has been sensitive when I press down on it hard enough and I was really worried. I went to the dentist and they couldn't find anything.
I'm just glad it wasn't a big cavity or anything.
Also, I've had one really small cavity drilled. It was so small that they just numbed it and drilled it and I didn't really feel that much. But during the whole thing, I was shaking like crazy because I was worried that they would be drilling and all the sudden they would hit a nerve or something...
Oh and one time my mom set up an appointment at a local dentist for a certain amount of time for my sister to get her teeth sealed or whatever. They did half of her mouth, but then said that they "ran out of time to finish". My mom got really mad because she skipped work to set up an appointment for an hour or so, and before that time was up, they told her they ran out of time. My mom started an argument and one lady said rudely to her, "well if you don't like it then you can go somewhere else".
But anyway, I think that the dentist is OK and enjoyable...except when they tell you something like you have a cavity. Then you regret going back to get it fixed.
