Your experience is not unusual with Seramas. For some reason, they are notoriously hard to hatch. Just keep trying!

That's what I've heard. Maybe I'll just have to see if I can find some chicks.

For now, I'm going to hatch some more Cuckoo Marans. I have 2 young roos that would really like some female company!!!

Tomorrow is day 18 for my second batch of Speckled hen eggs. I am not holding out much hope for these guys. The temp in the bator has been constantly up and down almost the entire time. I moved it because I was having some work done to my house and the only place I had available was not the best place for it. But I candled sat night and quite a few are growing so we will see!

I was just about to ask you for a report, Adam. Hopefully, some of them will just pop right out and surprise you! Lexie and Hawkeye have some strong genes so I hope at least you get one or two of hers and we know about Miss Caroline's babies. Good luck!

I'm on day 19 with my ameraucana eggs and they looked good last night. Then it's day 14 for my button quail. I have my fingers crossed they are all ok and That I have babies hatching any day now.

Every time someone incubates eggs from my crew, I feel like it's me doing it! I'm so nervous and anxious for you myself. These two babies of Silver's I just hatched had NO problems hatching at all, and although both eggs were the same size, the last chick is super tiny! Still, she had not a bit of trouble getting out of that shell. Keep me posted!
