Who Is At Day 18 or 21 Today on Their Hatch??

I have 3 pips at day 20 lots of peeping there are 8 in the brooder from last week I hope all 7 of this batch hatches I love babys good luck to everyone today

Yeah it's crazy. I'm excited because it's the first time and i've never seen a chick hatch, but I think it will be even worse after the first time! I just hope I have one hatch, I don't mind if the rest don't but I don't want all the waiting to be in vain. Unfortunately my husband is away this weekend so he won't get to see it unless they hatch on Sunday night. I'll have to leave to go and pick him up on Sunday too I was hoping to get him hooked LOL He and his father are cowboys and they think I am out of my mind loving chickens, but his dad appreciates the eggs!

Good luck, I hope they all hatch for you. My DH thinks Im crazy about loving chicks. I think I have him hooked now he already named one of the chicks from the hatch even before I had a chance. Maaybe you will leave Sunday and come back to a incubator full of chicks

I have 10 Easter Eggers and 4 Buff Orpingtons from Jody, and two of my own Buff Orpingtons and a Sultan Bantam. None of them have shown any signs of life yet, but maybe it's a bit early (day 19 today). Luckily my incubator is cooperating and has stayed at 99.6/63% the past two days, and 99.3-99.6/47% before that, other than the humidity problem the first day or so.

Bet you'll have a good hatch, Cara. Jody's birds are very healthy and vigorous and people often have spectacular hatches with her eggs. Crossing fingers for you! My next five in the bator are on Day 12 now.

I cant get my Hum. up past 50% but they are haching ok so IDK

Well, days 21,22,and 23 have come and gone and not one of my little Serama hatched. When I candled at day 18 there were 6 that looked good and had movement. Everything has gone well with this batch, so I don't have a clue why they would have died in the last few days. Temp and humidity have been great, air cell size has been right on. . . .I guess maybe they weren't strong enough to hatch??? Very frustrating!!!!!!

I have more eggs coming in about a week-and-a-half, so I'll try again.
