WHO IS EXPECTING APRIL CHICKS?????

From the local Feed store I ordered 8 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Silkies, and 4 Black Australorps. On Feb 25th my Rhode Island Reds and Silkies came in, but my Australrops didn't come in until March 31st and they ordered me 6 Australorps instead of 4. Those were all Straight Run. Additionally, I ordered 7 Golden Laced Wyandottes (1 male and 6 females) that were shipped on April 4th and arrived on April 6th. I know that 3 of the Rhode Island Reds are Roos and will have to go. I looked at the wings (for wing sexing) of the Australorps and it looks like all of them are girls. The only rooster that I plan on keeping is the Golden Laced Wyandotte so if anyone is close to me and wants a Rhode Island Red rooster let me know. I live in Fallon, NV.

2 days till hatch... Tax day babies... Pretty sure that's about 50 billion hours away.... Slower than Christmas..... Are they here yet!

Me either! Seven hours after shipping my tracking number STILL says electronic PRE shipping recieved! Ugh..here we go!!tracking nightmares!

Same thing happened to us today! Suppose to have shipped today at 1pm yet not movement on the tracking and I even have it set up to get text to my phone. This is our first flock and I hope they get here quickly.

Yes they are but the babies aren't pure. I have some awesome egg mean jerk black copper Marans and som pale egg nice white Marans and I am crossing them and then breeding dark egg layers back to white so I will have good quality white marans

I'm beyond frustrated! I got the email saying my chicks shipped yesterday from Ohio at 2:30pm and tracking said they should be here by 3pm today. Just got off the phone with the post office who said they only get one truck in the morning by 7am, so no chicks today! It's only a 4 hour drive from Cleveland to Indianapolis! !

How long did it take for your chickies to arrive? I'm just so nervous about them spending 2 nights on some loading dock.
