WHO IS EXPECTING APRIL CHICKS?????

Well they were picked up at 8:44 pm Monday and got here Wednesday at 6:44 am

I picked them up around 8:00 it was before the post office was open and the almost gave me someone's bees instead

I'm beyond frustrated! I got the email saying my chicks shipped yesterday from Ohio at 2:30pm and tracking said they should be here by 3pm today. Just got off the phone with the post office who said they only get one truck in the morning by 7am, so no chicks today! It's only a 4 hour drive from Cleveland to Indianapolis! !

Same here, ours shipped from Ohio also and tracking said they were only 2 1/2 hours away at 930am today but they won't be arriving til tomorrow!

That's ridiculous! I wonder why they feel the need to drag stuff out and make it take longer.

I went with MPC because they were so close and had the breeds i wanted available on the same day, but I will probably go with Meyer now so that i can pick them up myself and save the headache.

We ordered them from MPC. I believe it's the post office, but there has to be a better way so chicks don't have to be in a box for 2 1/2 days. I worry about the condition of the chicks when we get them cause of the length of time. I hope they have enough body heat cause past two nights it goes down to 30 degrees and it will be that cold tonight too. Hoping for healthy live chicks!

I called the post office and filed an investigation, he called it a DNR i think, because it's been 24 hours since the last tracking update. Hopefully that gets some response sooner..?

Mine decided to show up early, 12 out of 17 eggs due tomorrow have hatched. Babies everywhere!!! Now I'm just hoping the rest will hatch. One is pipped and the rest are stubbornly solid
