Now have THREE! hatching.

A little Pharaoh Quail, a white Silkie, and an EE.

and, yes, these guys are WAY early, but seem to be strong and healthy. My preschool class was talking to them and they were talking right back!

The Silkie bled a little bit when pipping and the kids were SO concerned. They wanted me to open up the bator and help him NOW! And by help him I, of course, mean give him a dora the explorer band aid... LOL

Hatching for preschool is what got me started on this hatching obsession...
They are sooooo totally amazed when that little chick pops out of that egg.

My lonely serama egg is pipped BTW. I hope he can go in with my chicks that hatched last Wednesday.

One of my girls told me under no uncertain terms that I was NOT leaving with the bator today (I take it back and forth so I can keep an eye on them). She told me the chicks needed to stay with her so that she could feed them cheese and crackers and play with them.

It's been such a great experience for them!

Good luck with your little serama! I've settled in with a good book to try not to check on them every 5 minutes.
