So I thought I had 18 lovely ladies, well I'm getting fertile eggs. So who is my mystery QUIET Rooster outside. I haven't heard a crow yet. These are the ones that I haven't gotten eggs from yet.

I have no idea, though your NN would be my best.

Is that Sheriff I see in the background of your silkie picture?

I don't see any that are obviously a rooster. Makes me think your guy might be a silkie. Can you post better face shots of the silkies?

Yup, I can go outside and get some of them. I will cry if its one of them. At least it hasn't crowed yet. But I'm almost 100% that its not. I had 4 from the same hatch, and 2 where double the size of the 2 I have now, and the both were crowing loud and clear by 8 weeks old.

Hmm, could a neighbors' rooster be getting in your yard? Just trying to think of every possibility.

No, we aren't zoned for Roosters, so I'm 100% positive no one around here has one, and I never hear on. Silkie Photo's coming up.

Hmm I'm not a Silkie person, but I'm pretty sure both of those are females as well. The NN is definitely a hen also, there are no prominent saddle hackle or sickle feathers. The same goes for every bird in the pictures you've shown us. Are you positive the eggs are fertile?
