nothing yet, they must be resting, cannot hear them peeping.
of course they are next to my baby silkies and frizzles.
I can hardly wait. come on blue eggs pip!

It is my first hatch!

I posted earlier wondering how long is too long to wait for my Black Copper Marans eggs to hatch. Today is day 29! One of them has pipped and I am so excited!

I didn't think any of them would by now. Suprise!

I have two hatched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a dark brown chick from a green egg and a golden colored one from a brown egg, both from Susan in Florida.
One more egg is pipping.

I got 9 chicken eggs and 4 turkey eggs under a chicken hen, just checked and from what I can see 2 turkey and 1 chicken eggs are starting to Pip, today is day 20, looks like today is the day!!!

Pipping again here in Florida! Thirteen more to go, don't know when they're due to hatch, they were found eggs in back of one of the nesting boxes.

i got 30 some odd hatched,, and just 4 or 5 eggs left,, but since we didnt candle this batch,,,(dang hippies) them eggs may not even be good lol

Jim, that was great 30 some chicks!
I wish I had more property for more chicks. I had one more hatch overnight, so that makes 3. one of the brown ones has brown feet.
several more have pipped.
