Ive got 1 pekin hatched, 2 pipped and 10 runners with nothing so far...

Update on my hatch. 1 millie fleur d'uccle hatched, others are pipping and no sign yet of the silkies.

I have 20 eggs going into intese bator watch tommorow. They are blue/ black and white americaunas.

I just moved my 9 remaining BO eggs to the Hatcher. I lost all but 2 of my BO chicks that I traded for, so getting as many of these chicks hatched . healthy and growing is important to my future Orpington Flock.
Hatcher is holding 99.5 and 73% Humidity. Bator held 99.5-100 and 46%, did have a couple slumps in humidity (36%) and a couple times temp got to 101 , but I candled all and they look good, there are a couple with funny air cells but I saw movement.
So, Now I wait.

im waiting i have 8 eggs incubating and im on day 20 im all set too stay up tonite and tomorrow nite lol just too make sure incubator keeps well lol geeezzzzz still cant believe i might get chicks from this lol

Well I just candled my eggs that are on Day 13 from my bad shipment- and threw out all three banties..they were no good. They had started to develop, though. I am now down to two BG, and two mystery eggs that I am not sure on. What a disappointing clutch that is.

I also candled my Day 6 replacement shipment- and one definitely no good, two maybes..the rest are too dark shelled to be sure yet. Some funky looking air cells in some of them though. One dark egg has an aircell that has a dark circle in the center?

I had better luck a couple years ago when I came home to discover my brother in law had put fresh eggs in my refrigerator and I pulled them out and incubated/hatched them. I didn't know as much, and didnt stress as much- ignorance is bliss.

Oh Mom... :aww it's rough, but those babies that do hatch are so lucky to have you as a mom!

I understand... I just candled my Dorking eggs yesterday, day 9 & 15 and out of 26 eggs I have 10 left that I'm praying over.

And out of the 72 button quail eggs set... only 15 have hatched. (Yes, ACE, 15!!! one more hatched this morning!

) The first one hatched Monday, and on Thursday we had 10, and I thought it was done. I ALMOST threw the eggs away! But I've had 5 more hatch since then, so I'm just going to let them go until I've had 3 days without any hatching. LOL! What a

experience this has been!

The next hatch will be better... please post pics of your new babies?

We're rooting for them!!

We just hatched out 3 EE +Barred rock chicks 2 EE and 1 EE+RIR . Used the egg carton method and worked great 6 out of 6 eggs. Much less cleanup.
Chicks are still in the bator kicking all around the place

I had 1 crack his shell last night and 3 more so far today. I have 18 total due Monday.
