I have 1 Toulouse egg on day 14. 27 chicken eggs on day 7 and 4 gray call duck eggs under a broody silkie on day 1 , more like under 2 broody hens. they are both sitting on the eggs.

Oh Mom... :aww it's rough, but those babies that do hatch are so lucky to have you as a mom!

I understand... I just candled my Dorking eggs yesterday, day 9 & 15 and out of 26 eggs I have 10 left that I'm praying over.

And out of the 72 button quail eggs set... only 15 have hatched. (Yes, ACE, 15!!! one more hatched this morning!

) The first one hatched Monday, and on Thursday we had 10, and I thought it was done. I ALMOST threw the eggs away! But I've had 5 more hatch since then, so I'm just going to let them go until I've had 3 days without any hatching. LOL! What a

experience this has been!

The next hatch will be better... please post pics of your new babies?

Way to go! I'm currently on day 9 with my manchurians which means I have 6-9 more days before these babies hatch! I tried candling the lighter colored ones and saw veins and some movement.

And....someone help me.... I have 3 brooders going! And here I am waiting on 9 pheasant eggs off from ebay and now here I go and buy....50 Coturnix eggs. A mix of the regular brown and the A&M whites. And I have more ducklings and chicks to arrive along with a gosling! I have a 4th brooder nearly finished and with th surplus babies I bought wire to make number 5. And the eggs I bought from Julie 12 of 15 have developed and have clear movement going on inside.​

Miss Prissy-

I am having 'near the end of my hatch' anxiety. I am on Days 8, 15, 20. I was so hoping the Seramas would have hatched yesterday, then overnight, then this morning....now I am pretending NOT to care either way.

Sooo, I swore off shipped eggs all together. Yes I did. Then proceeded to order three different breeds from three different sources. I'm doing good, huh? I will be hatching until June.

Then I will be done. Really.

Day 17--I'm getting ready to candle for the last time. Out of 29 viable eggs, I'm down to 24, with one question mark. For me, that's excellent. I've kept temps and humidity close to perfect. Eggs go in the cartons tomorrow--fingers crossed--please, please, please......

Ok the word from sclanimals last night before I went to bed was that 4 silkies had hatched and two more had pipped- that accounts for all 6 of the silkie eggs. 2 d'uccles had hatched and 2 more were trying like crazy to.

I have 6 Ameraucana chicks!!!

I was ALL worried about ruining the other eggs by having these hatch in there, so I went to TSC, and they had the LG's. Got one , got home, PIPS!!! I did not DARE move them, with no time to really test the LG.

7 more to go.... 3 are pipped that I can see..I have to lay on the floor, or stand on my head to see in there!!!!

I really want to take the LG back, and order a Genesis to hatch!!!
