So far I have one Bourbon red turkey out and one black rock. The only black rock that made it so far out of the 17 I ordered. All the others did not hatch. There is one let in there, I hope that one will hatch too. We are on day 21 for these.
Out of my 8 shipped buff rock eggs well 9 but one was infertile all 8 hatched the last 2 last night on day 20. but I have a problem 1 can't even stand up it keeps flipping backward and its head is sticking up in the air like it is looking at the cealing. it cant even lay on its belly the only way it can lay is on its back. or on its side every time it tries to get up right or lays on its belly its little head jerks up onto its back and it goes doing back flips. I think it might have to be culled. it is so fat and fluffy I hate to have to put it down but it can't live like that

The egg that I had (wiggly blue egg thread) where I hatched out the chick- it took it two days to be able to walk. When it first started, it first began by going backwards only. When it tried to go forward, it would fall over. After two days, it started walking fine. However now, (im sorry it doesnt relate to this thread), he appears to be blind.
The silver ones are blue cochins. Unfortunatly the person who sold me the eggs (Ebay) must have defective genes in their flock. Two of the silver chicks have a missing toe digit. They are beautiful otherwise, and will make a great pet.
I'm not waiting anymore, missyprissy...11 chicks out of 21 eggs. Not great, but better than I've ever done. And they are precious!! I have cochins and silkies. Here they are......
I had five sebbies that were supposed to hatch over the past couple of days. I had to have a double funeral as one died in the shell never pipped and one pipped and died.
I do have one baby that hatched last night! Yeah.
One that is about done hatching, I think it should be out this afternoon or evening and another that just pipped the egg.
Four more eggs in the incubator on day 22 today. One on day 10.
