Well this a.m. i was up to 6 royal palm turkey's and 4 pekin ducklings hatched out. Hubby is more excited than my daughter about her turkeys, LOL, it's old hat to her now, but he's just in love with these turkeys (finally!! something HE likes)

My second sebbie baby just hatched! Yeah.

I have to tell everyone my chicken and goose hating husband had to babysit the hatchling last night while I went to a friends house to pick up a birthday cake for my son.

He had the little goose on his chest petting it and talking to it just like a baby!

I asked him if he wanted his own "wittle goosey" and then he was done.

He did take good care of it while I was gone though and she/he is up and about a little this morning.

Hi, I'm new!
In a "foamy" incubator that I thought would never hatch any because of the terrible time I've had with fluctuating temperatures and never able to get the humidity to read greater than 50 I have 5 out and almost dry and 2 pipping. The last are taking longer so I'm worried!

Today is day 26 for my Toulouse egg. i just took it out of the turner and candled it one last time and the gosling is through the air sac and pecking on the egg.

OMG... I'm crying... I have worked SO hard for this little guy! It was the last chance to carry on the line of a rooster that died just after the eggs were shipped to me...
