The pheasant eggs I found in my guinea nest (or vice versa) are piping!

Oh... my... I've never had so many eggs pipping, wiggling and hatching at once... every time I look in the incubator there's another quail baby!

Up to about 10, with more eggs than I can count pipping and pushing! LOL! Wheeeeeeee !

Whoo Hoo!
I had 14 little fuzzies when I left the house this morning! 2 Golden Comets, 1 Partridge Cochin, 2 silkie/frizzles, 1 Buff Brahma and 8 Black Copper Marans! Still more were pipped, hope they're hatched when I get home - I have a tough time leaving them alone! Now I hope they're not ALL roosters!
I have a Genesis 1588, and finally got it set to the "original factory setting" (It was not set correctly when I got it, one of the switches was in the wrong setting, so temps were messed up the last 2 times) and I used the one water tray on the directions, and just trusted it to be right. This has been a better hatch for me all the way around, despite scrambled/shipped eggs (except I got the Black Copper Marans, Sizzle and Partridge cochin locally)...the Golden Comets and Buff Brahma were tough to count on - only two Buff Brahma developed out of 12, and the Golden Comets were a mess, only 8 even developed this far. These little guys were unsupervised during our 5 day evacuation/fire scare, but the Genesis with the egg turner in it is so self-sufficient, it did all the work itself! Yay for miracles!

One of my cat's got one of my new biddie's. I'm so mad. My cat's usually don't bother my new biddie's because coming after a game hen's biddie's is vicious. My hen is a new mama but I can't understand how it happened. I placed some buff egg's in a new silkie's nest that hasn't had a rooster but she is laying. What do you think my chance's are she will set? I still don't have my home made bator up to par. What is the thing called to register the humity and where can I buy one? How much does it cost? I have around thirty muff's & buff egg's that are ready to go in. That's why I was so hoping my silkie would give me a hand. Any help would be appreciated. Peace

Tomorrows day 21 here and so far we have 2 sultan chicks out and lots of pips. Once again another 100% hatch from chickn

Could someone tell me how to candle correctly & tell me what I'm looking for or hook me up with a link that will explain the process to me. I've been looking on the forum for one with no luck yet. Thank's in advance. Also I'm reading about a frizzle. What is that, a type of silkie?????????? Thank's guy's, ya'll are the best. Hope everybody is piping on time. Wish mine would pip. I can't figure out how to add the smiley's either. I'm having a rough time here. PEACE

My Welsummers are due to hatch tomorrow - 11 eggs - hope everything goes ok - I had the power outage a week ago of 5 1/2 hours but have had 8 of my own hatch - so that's good I guess.

Got up to one pip this morning! I am curious as to if it will be a blue orp though as the egg does not match in color or size the other five? Keeping my fingers crossed
