I have been grinning from ear to ear ever since the first one hatched! And I've only had one sticky chick that I had to help out. He's still pretty goopy... I've nicknamed him "Wet Willie" temporarily!

I have a Silkie who pipped before we left for work... it's my first egg carton hatch (last time I almost threw up thank you pregnancy). So I'm nervous. It was also a shipped egg...

I have one blue orp chick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seems to have some white feathers running down the neck and chest? Hard to see it as it isn't out as yet but I do see white feathers???

edited to add: by the way this was a perfectly clean hatch. so far I love the egg carton method.
