34 baby quail hatched so far! Took my first wave to the brooder. I can't even count what of what I have! They were moving around too much for me to pick up o coloration other than some jumbo: tuxedo, regular coturnix, Texas AM, and possible tibetian chocolates. Regular size: tuxedo, brown coturnix and maybe some manchurians. 34 hatches of 115 and just about every egg I see has a pip! And my California Valley Quail are pipped too! Also a new baby araucana hatched! I hit the mother load!

I am patiently (NOT!) waiting again... 2 blue orpingtons from Speckled hen and 6 Red Dorking eggs went into the hatcher and they're due tomorrow...

What would be the chances of BOTH hatching, and one being a male and one a female? Astronomical?
