Who is pipping and waiting right now??

day 19 and 20 in the hatcher, wiggling but no pips yet, and I am not a patient person!! ;0) hatching eggs is teaching me a lot of patience though-- also candled my silkie eggs in the incubator and out of 18, I think around 15 have veins-- also have Spitzhauben and Brabanters in with a couple of days to go before first candling, keeping fingers crossed for them--

if these eggs in the hatcher don't pip soon I'll go crazy! luckily I don't have far to go at all

One baby is out, five pips- and one that committed suicide by pipping at the bottom and drowned/suffocated.

I am both excited and nervous, of the eggs that were supposed to hatch today, I had the one do so, and the one that died...however, none of the others are doing anything-the pips are all on the ones supposed to hatch tomorrow.

Just put 7 muscovie eggs in the hatcher, all looked dead except one, but who knows, hopefully I'm wrong. And I put in 6 blue and cuckoo silkies too, hopefully we'll have babies in a few days!

This is my first time ever. I have 2 (6 others didn't develop or stopped developing) Golden Penciled Hamburgs in my incubator and today is day 21.

One has broken a tiny circular crack on the top and keeps making a loud PEEP every so often.

The other is moving around a bit in a twitchy way.

I can hardly do anything else but keep looking in the bator window.

How long until they come out (assuming everything is alright-I have already decided not to intervene based on a lot of what I have read here)? It is excrutiating waiting!

Go find something else to occupy yourself, and leave the hatching to the chicks... they'll come out in their own sweet time. It could be 15 minutes from now, it could be 15 hours from now. They pip, then they rest... SIT ON YOUR HANDS!

Oh, don't worry. I won't touch them or open the incubator. I seriously thought I was going crazy this morning when I heard that cheep! LOL
