Hmmm... dunno... I go from a still-air LG to a forced air hatcher, not the other way around. It's not by choice, but because the LG has the auto-turner, and I'm lazy.

Well, seeing as these came all the way from Florida, because my girls aren't laying yet, I can't help ya there.

And if you want Button eggs, I think Aug 11 is the first shipping date I'll have open... they're going faster than my girls can poop them out!!! And that's not a bad thing!
Just wait until I get photos of the 4 of them all fluffed out... OMG...I so love silkies!!

I'm going to try and hatch out some buff silkies next month as well and what color is that on in your pics? white? or grey or silver..lol

the buff silkie eggs i might be getting all the hens and rooster is like a golden color​

I'll put you on the calendar for the 11th, and a note to check back with you on the 4th, ok?
I'm not sure on the color yet... they looked black when they hatched, then pure white, but now... they're fluffing out to a slate blue. I'll know better in the morning. I don't have any buff silkies... my son wants a red one, though, so we'll have red, white and blue birds in one pen!

i have a cousin that called me the other day he found out i had an incubator ( work gets around fast ) lol well he called me an siad he had some green chicken eggs he wants me to hatch out next month i ask him what breed they were and he said he didn't know..( big help ) lol

Day 22 will begin officially about 11:15 today. As of this morning, out of 7 Delawares, I have 4 hatched, 2 pipped and 1 just sitting there.

Out of 11 Blue Orps (Suede babies) I have 5 hatched, 3 pipped and 3 doing nothing yet.

And there are 9 more Orps on Day 20 in another bator; 8 Blue Orps (Suede's) on Day 4.

Today is day 20 and last night I had one pip! No change this morning from last night. Should I be worried? I don't see any movement or hear any peeping, but I didn't before it pipped either.
