I have 2 pips so far on my 21 eggs and it's day 19.

One hatched so far and one died after pipping.

Still waiting on the other 4 eggs...times running out and mamma hen seems to want to get up now. Torn between the baby and the eggs. I may have to stick them under someone else. (I have 5 broody right now)

ANOTHER ONE IS PIPPING!! WoooooHoooo!!

Well it hatched but the hen squashed it this am. SO ONE... I have ONE out of the 10 that I started with! Most quit early and I had 5 I thought sure things.
The other 3 just didnt hatch and one is now oozing...This hen pooped on the eggs no less than 3 times would that kill them? I tried to wipe them off without washing.

One of the other broody hens is kicking the eggs out of the nest box while getting comfy (I guess) One other is sitting on 8 live (candled last night) out of the 12 she started with a week ago.

I ordered a Genesis 1588 yesterday. I am tired of the hens trying to hatch. I only get 1 or 2 out of 10 or so eggs everytime!

We (denasfarm and Binkysbarn are mom and daughter) put the hen back with the others and brought the lone chick inside with us. The hen adopted our 5 week old chicks in the adult pen...see pic a link below.

1 pip out of 9, but seems to have stopped...will wait and see what happens.

12+ hours not progressing, but stronger cheeps...will check in again this afternoon....will help out if no hatch yet.

The first of my five Blue/Black/Splash Orpington eggs (Suedelettes) has pipped. These are all sold already, though. There are seven more due in a week.
