I have one Silver Phoenix pipped , it's day 19, and one Serama internally pipped-- 2 more Serama eggs, more Phoenix, and some Polish in the hatcher not doing much yet.

My 17 Cookoo Maran eggs are due today - not a pip! I have been hatching my own cochins and showgirls but not a pip from these eggs. I had three cochins and one showgirl hatch yesterday. I am shutting down the bator the 31st. So they had better do something by then. My own eggs hatch great - but I have miserable luck with shipped eggs. I am thrilled you all are doing so well. Just a wee bit jealous.

I think I'm pipping one egg - I am soooo new here and waiting for HELP. I now have 6 eggs being hatched by 2 hens that are sharing the nest - very weird. I'm a newbie, we've had these pet hens for years and just got a rooster and here we go. one egg was broken and rotten - I cleaned it up, don't know if I should move the hens and eggs. they are nesting in hay and it is about day 20 or so - this was a tad unexpected so soon, but they want to be mommies. should I clean up in there or let nature do its thing??

thank you - being a newbie and all, I just dont know what to do. it seem like most posts are for Incubators, not hen hatching - need more info please

ok - I think I've got one egg pipping, its got a little crack in it - how long till it hatches???
should i leave the babies in the hen house with the moms?
