Who is right?

Warning about these motion alarms. They go off for everything. A few things that have set mine off was a stray cat,some leaves blowing, and lightning. I also agree with building as big as you can. 22 in a 50x35 run and it sometimes looks too small.

As long as your run/fence/enclosure is properly secure, you shouldn't have any problems.

The largest part of our henyard is not netted over whatsoever, we just have pink marking tape and rope that spans across it. Deters the aerial predators away with ease!

The original run, before we expanded on, was netted over, and still is, but there are also pine tree's that aid in extra coverege.
I don't have a picture on me currently, so I would have to get one to show you.

yeah. if we wanted to net our yard that is fenced in that they free range in it would be like 70x 70 lol. it would be a lot of net

That would be a whole lot of net!
We haven't had many predator problems even without overhead netting, they just run for cover under the trees when a predator flies over.
