Who is superstitous?(sp?)

i am, even though i know it's rediculous!
my weirdest superstition is that i always have to eat a little bit of a fortune cookie before i read the fortune. i guess i figure that eating the cookie makes it "mine" and therefore the fortune really applies to me only (i know, dumb right?). i have no idea why i started to believe this. i think i made it up but if anyone else does it please let me know!

Nope. However, when I have a critically ill animal I will put on my Mother and Grandmother's rings for mental/emotional support. I feel like I "have them in my pocket" or with me that way.

I've had them on for three months now. We are fighting a huge battle against glaucoma, which our wonderful Bullmastiff has. We are fighting a losing battle, but are trying to save the sight in his bad eye for as long as we can as the other eye most likely will succumb to this disease. His therapy dog days are over, but we will and have done EVERYTHING we possibly can for him. He is a dog that comes into your lifetime only once, and we will never give up on him. He has taught us so much.

He will be my avatar in the next day or so.

Definitely superstitious and a witch too!
I do the wood knocking, usually my forehead too. LOL

I get a lot of the "birds in the house" why would you do that? from people...but there's a bit of a difference between chickens and sparrows...

Don't worry at all about black cats, or walking under ladders.

I never count cars in the funerals.

No luck finding a four leaf clover.

I've heard a Banshee. Now THAT is scary! And it was for a person who's not Irish and I'm only a touch Irish.

I think seeing an Eagle/Hawk is a good thing and I always say hello to them or Brother Crow or Sister Snake.

I was spooked for a week after hearing an owl, in the daytime, 3 days in a row!

The number 3 has always been magickal to me, even without me realizing it. I always pick three, such as colors for a quilt, candles, etc.

I am about some things... I do throw salt if I spill it, I'll knock on wood, Owls concern me if I see or hear one during the day, I always greet animals (especially wild ones if I see one), New Years it's black eyed peas, greens, and corned beef for dinner! I also don't feel so cool about mirrors that get broken.

I adore black cats and even have one (a rescue) that lives with me.

Can someone explain the RabbitRabbit bit on the first day of the month? I had never heard about the paying a penny for a gift knife either.
