Chickiemama, if I get another peafowl egg tomorrow, you will be receiving a couple. Found one this morning.

I will try to get you 4, but for fertility I want to get them shipped no later than the 2nd day. I know the 1 in my incubator is fertile, so we will see what happens during shipping.

If there is not another tomorrow morning, do you want me to ship the 1 I have?

11 days to go, or less.

My other 2 who are schedueled to hacth sunday died suddenly over night.
Yep not moving.
So i got 1 out of 7 for my first hatch...
VERY disheartenning.
I was looking forward to giving my lil Evil Kineval some friends to play with but looks like he's going to be alone v.v

Its really sweet though. I'm all he has so he;s really atatched to me.
When i come home from school He's peeping up a storm.
And when i leave he starts 'crying'
I know everything about him and he's my first hatchling so i hope im doing everything right ^^!

I have 15 eggs due on June 1st! They are all developing. I candled two days ago and everyone was swimming around. Now they are getting bigger and it's hard to see them moving, so I decided not to candle again. I'll just wait and see what hatches.

I put in 18 eggs but two didn't develop--I guess they were infertile. The other was developing until I dropped it on another egg in the first week. The egg it hit cracked, but I taped it shut and it seems to be developing normally. The one that was dropped had the air cell knocked loose and it stopped developing.

If all 15 of my eggs hatch I would consider that a 100% hatch rate in my homemade Miss Prissy bator!!

Four turkeys within the next 2-3 days, a chicken right in there somewhere and a bunch of guineas about 7 days after that.

The turkeys are a tad ahead of time due to hatching at chicken temps. I candled today to make sure and all four are good, one slightly behind the other three.

Hello, I, too, recieved eggs in the mail today. I've NEVER incubated eggs before! Actually, my friend has the incubator and will be doing it for me. But he's never incubated eggs received in the mail. I ordered 12, but 2 were broken. So I have 10 pretty blue Araucana eggs. My question is, I've heard to let them sit (rest) for 10-14 hours. Do you know? My friend said he would get them in the morning. Does that sound good....to wait until in the morning to put them in?....that would be about18-20 hours. What do you think?
