Who is your candidate?

I'm surpised Gingrich has even made it this far. I mean, come on. The guy was hit with a $300k fine for ethical wrong doing in 1998. That's just what we need: someone who has ethical issues in not only his personal life, but also his professional.

It's really looking like the Republican party wants to assure Obama's re election.

Could happen but my experience has been that the first four years are the best because re-election is up for grabs after that they simply do not care. Watch the state of the union? Obama sounded like a Republican.

Or 4 more years may yield a totally different result. Just sayin'.

Debate happened tonight!! *hopes Ron Paul will win the primary later*

All us chicken ladies and guy's seem to be talking Paul,Santorum and Romney.....

I think Gingrich and Santorum can double up on their man girdles. Neither one look like they can breath. Gingrich actually is a weeble wobble. Santorum is just working toward becoming one. Ron Paul mopped the floor with all of them again. Did anyone notice how Wolf failed to give Ron Paul an opportunity to answer what he would do to improve the Palestinian people's lot in life? The other candidates just got up there huffing and puffing talking points that feel good to the conservative Jewish community - that is- Florida. Ron Paul would been more straight forward and honest- and more of a pragmatist. We need leadership here. How many more administrations need to creep by before there can be peace in the birthplace of Christ?
How many more bombs have to be lobbied at the Israelis by Islamist factions that simply do not want peace? And how much longer will Israel neoconservatives -who make trillions of dollars literally- trillions- in military industrialism- how much longer will they drag the great Jewish culture into their disingenuous rhetoric that equates any criticism of neoconservative policy (against innocent civilians native to the same country- that happen to not be Jewish) as anti-Semitic? Ron Paul is now being castigated as an anti-Semite because of his no nonsense attitude about the near east and its permissive bad behavior. He's come right out and said that giving them ( the entire region) so much attention is in effect rewarding their bad behavior- and further he countered that Israel was plenty powerful to deal with its own enemies and protect itself- without dragging anyone else into their problems.

Wolf of course has a very special relationship with Israel. I respect Blitzer but he did the entire process a disservice by once again, marginalizing Ron Paul and in retrospect I feel that Wolf worked (and failed) to take some of the wind out of Paul's sails. We all know Obamam will win and by a landslide. If the republicans actually wanted to win- and they didn't last time either- they would have a serious contender. What Ron Paul provides is a valuable perspective and he should be heard. I don't agree with everything he says- I find his son Rand to be one step above Newt in the slimy category- and what's with that road kill on Rand's head anyway? Men in toupee's? Why? They NEVER look good!
Anyway- I want to hear Paul and Obama debate because they both have moral integrity and are brilliant astute men of principle.
Most of the people that spout off about Obama do so because some jackalope on conservative radio told them to. Many other people just don't like the man. He's just too uppity and doesn't know his place. He's condescending and patronizing- he's intimidating and pals around with extremists-He aint my president and I don't trust him.- Yeah a whole lot of circular reasoning that wanders around an obvious issue I don't need to focus on.

The Republicans can ill-afford to have one of their own in office next term just as they couldn't afford to have one follow the disaster that was the Cheney/Rove white house.
Republicans can't stand to be held accountable- watched them tonight- every one of them but Ron Paul changed the subject of just about every conversation and jumped into Obama's britches- like he created the problems. He's one of this countries few janitor in chiefs. We all know that- anyone that's honest with themselves and knows and inkling about American history and the truth beneath the veneer of politics- those that are not dumped into the white wash and spin cycle of the pundits- we all know how we came to be in this mess. It's just feels right to blame it on the guy that was elected after the guy that shoe horned our country into two enormous blood for oil wars.

Ron Paul has seen it clearly from the first day. Obama will win and by a landslide- not because of the blacks like some idiots have been saying - blacks are not the highest populations of Americans in this country and they all don't just vote for Obama. Though let's be clear- whites have been voting for white candidates since the whole democracy process began so the next time you hear that shake your head a little and use some of that Ron Paul logic to clear that up. Obama will win reelection because the mess we are in is better pinned on him than a Republican. That's why the GOP showed up with McCain and Palin. That clown posse was never going to win. Then Fox News helped guarantee they lost by inventing one sensationalistic piece of trash after the other about the other ticket. People can see right through that. Fair and Balanced my donkey. They railroaded Paul right out of that election for- McCain Palin and made up so much B.S. about Obama in the process they just ended up making conservatives look really bad and untrustworthy.
Remember when it was unpatriotic and unAmerican to not support the war in Iraq? Then when Obama was running they tried to lynch him for wanting to "cut and run" from Iraq. A
s soon as he was elected into office the news pundits turned it into Obama's war and why? None of them wanted to be held accountable for all that war profiteering by Halliburton and Blackwater and every other military industrialist you could shake a stick at.

So- I was pretty disgusted with tonight's debate. My support for Paul for the GOP nomination is unwavering. Santorum and Newt are tied for most useless chubby guy that can't control what they eat or say. Romney is a pompous bumm with more money than humility and none of them could hold their own in a debate against Obama. They're clowns.
Santorum actually wants rape victims to see their unwanted pregnancies as "gifts". Sorry- that just doesn't cut it. That alone makes him a non-starter. Newt is married to the beautiful woman in one of my favorite movies . But she's already spent too much time inside the white house....she tried to kill the president!

So here's to night time toddy for Ron Paul.

I like Ron Paul the most but doubt he'll win Republican prim... So my vote is for Romney.

Attitude like that is while he will lose the worst thing you could do is vote for someone because you think the other guy is a "wasted" vote. That logic is the same as my dad. He says the only reason he will not vote for Ron Paul is because he thinks he is a wasted vote.
