okay, okay. as i said on page 3, there was a winner early on but i wanted to see what different kinds of birds would be guessed.

the winner was parsnip, who guessed seagull eggs. those who guessed herring gull, don't be upset. it says in the rules that you don't have to be super specific, and parsnip guessed seagull. it IS a seagull egg after all

and since parsnip was the first to guess that it was a seagull egg, that's who the prize goes too.
i totally ate this one! it was delicious! i will be getting more today out in the swamp where the locals like to nest. if i find any eggs that are still warm i am going to incubate them! i used to do it as a kid, and have raised at least 10 seagulls who eventually went wild. they still came back for "mommy visits" though

so, prize goes to Parsnip! congrats! anyone have questions about seagull eggs? they are sure tasty!

Seagull eh? cool , I think I guessed herring gull but it was probably my 7th or 8th guess anyway hehehee I was just having fun with it. Congrats Parsnip!

Katty, do you know what kind of gull eggs those are? Have you ever blown them out and kept them for decoration? They would look really lovely in a bowl on my counter!
