Who laid this egg?

We have a Bantam Cochin Frizzle, a Silkie and a Polish. Trying to figure out who laid this.

Defo nt a silkie egg i have silkies..also dont think its a polish egg so id go with cochin frizzle nt an expert tho

I thought all were laying. Until today when I found this. The other 2 bantams are really laying good

How old are your birds....who usually lays a brown egg?

Fairy, fart, wind, rooster eggs are usually from a tiny piece of tissue breaking loose from the reproductive tract, or an immature ova(yolk) and the body forms an egg around it. Color can be darker than 'normal' as the pigment coating released has to cover a much smaller area so is thicker. Can happen with any age layer, but more common with older layers.
