Who likes caruncles?

As a young child I first saw these ducks in a pond and I loved their funny looking faces. I still adore this breed of duck and I love seeing all the unique caruncles that each duck has.

I think they're fun. Like others have said though, I'm not a fan of the extreme ones.

Muscovy are not related to geese. They are derived from Wood ducks whereas other domestic ducks are derived from Mallards. Muscovy are the real thing!!

I have never understood why judges want Muscovy to have so many caruncles on their faces you can't even see their eyes now to me that is disgusting. Plus poor things can't even see.

Muscovy are not fake breed ducks by the way. They are their own species. And wonderful ducks

I have heard show quality muscovies have insane caruncles, but I've never seen them. The worst I've personally seen was on my boy Putin, and I still thought he was handsome. He was getting to the point where he looked as though he had a turkey's head. If I ever had a bird with caruncles so bad it obscured their vision I'd cull it. That seems like a cruel thing to breed into a flock.
