That's not true, they are scientifically classified as ducks and can produce offspring with other ducks. Geese and ducks cannot produce offspring. They don't look or act like typical ducks but that doesn't make them a "fake breed".

But that's not even remotely true. Muscovies are related enough to ducks they can breed and create hybrid offspring. Muscovies cannot breed and create hybrid offspring with geese because they are not closely related enough. But I do understand the confusion - that's one of those weird myths that seems to have taken over the internet.

Muscovy are not fake breed ducks by the way. They are their own species. And wonderful ducks
