I started showing rats, hamsters, and rabbits in 4-H, and at our county fair, for some odd reason, I couldn't stop staring at those beautiful birds under our tent (small stock used to share a tent with poultry)... I talked to people about them and became captivated by their stories, and decided I that I had to get some! It took a lot of begging my mom though!

I grew up with a dog, I've had goldfish and hermit crabs since I could walk, but those werent my personal pets. My first personal, real pet was a rat named Noah that I got when I was 8.
