You know, I think you're right about their friendliness when they're getting ready. I think my bigger leghorn got a bit friedlier lately. But maybe it's my imagination

I just started back up again with chickens after a couple years of saving to buy a house so that I could again have chickens, so I am a long way off with my 4 week olds. I had three EEs, the first to lay was laying tan eggs to start, but they turned a very light shade of green after about a month, the next to lay as giving us blue, and the last to lay was giving us pink. The shades did seem to change a bit as they got older, so you may get a green out of that girl yet

Now all the girls are squatting for me.. Speck and Camilla are SOO funny squatting...

WELL WELL... I have another layer!! I don't know who it is though..

It might be Guinness because she came flying out of the coop when I went out earlier. It's a smaller, cute, perfectly oval dark brown egg
