Yep, just not possible to have a President everyone agrees with. But what a boring place would it be if we all agreed on everything all the time.

If I ran for president we would have a president that I agree with, but very few others would. So we just need to look at their records of those running, question their positions, vote for our choice and pray everything works out.

If only we could get Palin to convince McCain to make a law stating that every person who does not

A) Own chickens/quail/turkeys/pheasants/ect.
B) Have a BYC account
or C) Wants poultry so bad they dream that chickens are eating their towns.

gets taxed.

That way, no one would get in trouble about their chickens, you'd get in trouble if you DONT have chickens.

Then who will build highways, track disease, screen for terrorists at airports, equip the military , build schools and what will we do with our parents who live on Social Security?

Should have said NO NEW TAXES. Wish you could see how the taxes go up every year. Not even adding new ones.

Ha ha ha ha! Funny post...

Can we get tax credits for coop expansion and for owning large numbers of chickens? Hee hee hee... How about a historical preservation credit for breeding heritage breeds like Dominiques?

This is done all the time in dictatorships.

Ask any citizen in a dictatorship and every one will tell you how much he/she LOVEs the president and agrees with everything he says and does.

I was just going to comment on this, too. She's from the biggest oil producing state. Like Speck said, no accident there.

Tough on corruption? HA!
She is currently under investagation for doing something "corrupt"

This is my personal opinion and in no way reflect the opinions of Nifty and his website, nor that of any of the other moderators, my husband, my ducks, my chickens or my geese, inasmuch as my geese will tell it like it is if you give them half a chance.

Anyway, I find it refreshing that someone new to most of us who may have a new vigor and drive to get things done may be in a postion to actually do something. Someone from a rural state possibly with good core values would be nice for a change. Heaven knows I am not overly impressed with the talent out there now. Sometimes going to a place where everyone knows your name is not so comforting.

Now I have no idea about the Gov, but I plan to research. Not saying I will vote that way, but still new blood might be a good thing.
Other than that, I tend to stay out of political discussions.
